
Virgin Australia will improve its regional home community providing with a brand new service between Brisbane and Alice Springs.
From 19 June 2018, Virgin Australia will function a twice-weekly return service on Tuesdays and Thursdays underneath a moist lease settlement with Alliance Airways (Alliance), operated by Alliance’s Fokker 100 and Fokker 70 fleet of plane.
“Virgin Australia is happy to be constructing upon our presence within the Queensland and Northern Territory markets,” Virgin Australia Airways group govt Rob Sharp says.
“These providers is not going to solely strengthen our home community providing and improve competitors on this route, however they may also present higher connectivity to worldwide locations resembling New Zealand.”
Providers between Brisbane and Rockhampton, at present operated by Alliance’s Fokker 100 fleet, will profit with Virgin Australia upgrading two present return flights to its Boeing 737 plane, including over 300 seats per week into the area.
