Jetstar will start thrice-weekly flights between Brisbane and Australia’s most well-known monolith, Uluru, from 3 August.
The airline’s new low fare service will fly from Brisbane direct into Ayers Rock Airport, giving each Queenslanders and worldwide guests the chance to immerse themselves in all of the cultural experiences of the Crimson Centre.
The Northern Territory’s Division of Tourism and Tradition performing chief government officer Michael Tennant helps the transfer, saying that Tourism NT will maintain working intently with airline companions to strengthen the viability of present routes and create new routes into the Northern Territory.
“Brisbane is a key worldwide gateway airport (after Sydney and Melbourne) and, till now, there have been no direct flights between Brisbane and Uluru,” Mr Tennant says.
Jetstar is the second airline to announce new companies from Brisbane to Yulara, with Virgin Australia set to start out companies from 19 June.
Jetstar’s announcement comes as Voyages Ayers Rock Resort opens the doorways on its newly renovated 100-room boutique Misplaced Camel property at Yulara.
